Why doesn’t the traffic reported on the platform match my Facebook/Google Analytics?

It's not uncommon to notice disparities between traffic reported on our platform and data from Facebook or Google Analytics. We understand the concern, but rest assured, our platform's data is accurate and reliable.

Understanding the Difference:

  • Google Analytics Tracks On-Site Sales: Google Analytics records sales exclusively on your website. In contract, Grow tracks all sales attributed to your campaigns, regardless of where they occur. This may result in more sales being reported on our platform, but it doesn't mean the data is incorrect.
  • Varied Data Sets: Google Analytics captures a subset of data compared to our platform. For instance, it may miss sales from direct traffic or organic searches, which our platform captures as part of your campaigns.

Addressing Common Issues:

  • URL Decorates: Affiliates may encounter issues passing URL decorators, leading to discrepancies in tracking. Grow's tracking follows the click, allowing us to track URLs even when decorators are stripped.

Solutions to Gain More Insights:

  • Setting up UTM Parameters: To gain deeper insights into traffic sources, consider setting up UTM parameters for your program. This can provide valuable data for analysis.

We recommend using both the Grow platform and Google Analytics together for a comprehensive overview of your campaign performance. By leveraging the strengths of both platforms, you can make informed decisions and optimize your strategies effectively.
