How can I set up UTM parameters to gain more traffic insights?

Tradedoubler can set up UTM parameters for you upon request, even after a program has been launched.

The following template is recommended:

www.myonlinestore.com/?utm_source=tradedoubler&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=[td_site_name]

This will not only tell you that a given site is one of our affiliates but also give you the name of the affiliate’s website, so you can see which one has generated the traffic via website’s analytics.

You can also use &utm_term or &utm_content in the UTM parameters.

The following variables are available for UTM parameters:

  • td_affiliate_id
  • td_segment
  • td_site_name
  • td_guid

If you would like to see this data in your Google Analytics please request your UTM parameters are added by Grow Support (growsupport@tradedoubler.com)
